R.W.Miller
is a consultant to industry in areas relating to his professional
background in flow measurement, fluid dynamics, meter design,
technical marketing, standards, flow laboratory design and operation
and in general fluid metering applications. He has extensive
experience with orifice, nozzles, Venturies, target, vortex,
magnetic, and mass flowmeters as well as numerous other flowmeter
types.
Previously, he was a Senior Consultant with the
Foxboro Company, where he consulted in the broad area of flow
measurement and flow meter design as related to industrial and
custody transfer metering. He worked in the numerous aspects of
design, manufacturing, research, and development activities
associated with the companies diverse flow measurement and control
product line.
He serves, or has served, on many standards and
technical committees both nationally and internationally. He is the
author of the McGraw Hill text Flow Measurement Engineering
Handbook. He also, has published numerous technical papers.
He directed and designed many of the company's
compressible fluids and liquid laboratories used for product or
research and development purposes. |
